Find a Hebrew word with TWO specific accents

One is supposed to be able to do this, but Accordance 13 complains no matter how I do it:

In Hebrew MANY words have two accents, or and accent + Meteg etc. I am not currently able to do my research on Accordance with regards to accents.

@Dr. Nathan Parker as far as I am aware regardless of the Hebrew module it is impossible to limit search for word that have two accents. Searching for two accents will sometimes bring up words that have two accents though.

That’s true @Brian K. Mitchell, but I have 2 issues with this (and I LOVE @Darin Franklin’s work)

 

1. Regex is complex, and as you can see in Darin’s example, needs some skill to be able to find what you’re looking for. 
2. Accordance *should * be able to,do it (IMHO) using the wildcard system we currently have implemented. And it frustrates me that it can’t (reliably) do what we want in this.

@Ken Simpson  Yes, it is very frustrating that Accordance isn't able to do this type of search at the moment. And, to add to that this question has come up a number of different times on the forums. I am sure the programs have their hands full at the moment, but I hope they can resolve this issue in the near future.

Is this still happening for you in 14.0.10 on Windows (can you remind me the Windows version)? I can move this to bug reports and file it as a bug report instead of a feature request since it seems it should already be functioning.

Yes, searching for 2 accents on the same word is not working for me at all on my Windows 11 laptop. Would love to be able to perform these searches. Please report this as a bug. Thanks!

@Dr. Nathan Parker, I confirm this is still affecting me on Accordance 14.0.10 and I'm on Windows 10. Thanks to @Brian Leathers for confirming this on Windows 11.

 

To clarify: The Hebrew Tanach often places a combination of two specific accents on a word. Currently accordance has a bug which makes searching for a word with two accents impossible.

So, the first Pashta (shift-option-0) followed by a Pashta (shift-option-3) doesn't work on Windows? And, this is one the few one double accent searches that runs well on the Mac version of Accordance.. Yeah, there must be a bug!
