Well, we got her when she was one year old (she turned six just yesterday), and she was already named "Lucy." We extended that to "Lucy Mae" as a continuance of our previous basset hound, "Bessie Mae" (1998 - 2015). I already plan to name the next dog (not necessarily a basset hound), "Daisy Mae."
