dinomof Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 A long time ago I found someone (maybe on Accordance forums?) that had created a script which would get verses from accordance and copy them into Word for Mac. It doesn't seem to be working now, and I don't know enough about either to trouble shoot. I would like to get it working, as well as duplicate it for powerpoint, Omni outliner, pages, and or keynote. I use all of these believe it or not. So my question is does anyone know how to write a script that while you are in one of these other applications I mentioned above, you can run the script and copy in verses from accordance? Thanks!
Paul Meiklejohn Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 A few of us use Alfred which does a really neat job, but it does require Joe Weaks' Scripts running in the background. You will also need the paid version of Alfred to run workflows. It works flawlessly for me. See this post. http://www.accordancebible.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=9667&hl=
Joe Weaks Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 A long time ago I found someone (maybe on Accordance forums?) that had created a script which would get verses from accordance and copy them into Word for Mac. dinomof, It was most likely we were in contact before. My current script library has been around for 8 years. The current library works well with latest Accordance and OSX. So, it may be you just need to download the latest version. Info and a video is here: http://macbiblioblog.blogspot.com/2010/02/accordance-services-collection-released.html The downloads section gives you where to download. You can use Services or Quicksilver Actions (I see no reason to pay to use Alfred). There is a dedicated add-in for running natively in Word. If you were using the Accordance Automation Script Library, and it is now not working, please elaborate on how you were engaging the script, and what you're seeing, etc.
