Sync Pen highlights with iOS

Not sure if this may be a bug or a feature request but couldn't find any threads prior. 

 

Using highlight and pen markings on desktop, then syncing through Dropbox (on Windows 10) so that I can access it on iPad

The highlights sync but the pen markings do not

 

Would be great if these would sync too?

Thanks for your request. 

 

Currently the iOS application does not support the pen highlighting feature, though it is on the list of items to implement. Be assured, however, that your highlights are in fact on your device, so you've not lost anything, it's just that the app does not current support drawing or creating pen data.

It would be super rad if we could use Apple Pencil to highlight naturally, like pdf markups in iOS and if that would somehow sync and be compatible with what's available in the desktop app.
