While, do so few write permissions notification boxes appeared, only for tools, though. I am not sure if this has do with the way the SSD is set up or is different from my former hard drive. I don't know of anything in particular about an SSD that would cause this kind of error. Can you describe the setup and re-install process? Is the SSD replacing an existing drive, or an external drive? Was the new drive cloned off the old drive or was this a fresh install? (That sort of stuff...)
