Julia Falling Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 Hey - This has happened before. It seems to only happen when I'm editing my User Notes. I have BetterTouchTool running. My thumb will brush the lower left corner of my Magic Track Pad, and abracadabra! The ID windows start piling up. The most I've had is three. After that, they decrease one at a time down to none, then back up to three, etc..
Joel Brown Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 What is your BTT set to do at that lower left corner?
Julia Falling Posted March 26, 2013 Author Posted March 26, 2013 Bring up the ID window. It works. Too well!
Joel Brown Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 But what does that mean? Is it tied to the menu command 'Instant Details'?
Julia Falling Posted March 26, 2013 Author Posted March 26, 2013 Yes. It's like a keyboard shortcut. I can get there the same way with shift-cmd-I (I changed the Accordance default keyboard shortcut in System Prefs). It makes the ID window either appear or disappear. It's especially handy when my MBP is not connected to an external monitor. I was able to get two ID windows using the keyboard shortcut, but not more. Then I closed the edit window and tried again, and Accordance behaved normally. Very odd. I know the intermittent problems are the hardest to track down. I'll try to keep careful track of when it occurs.
