Ploni
I recently purchased the Greek-English Lexicon (BDAG). When I am reading through my Greek New Testament (tagged) and select a word and right click on it, I am presented with a Menu where I have the option of searching for the selected word in various sources. I wish to add BDAG to the "Search In" command. At present in order for me to do a search for a Greek word in BDAG I have to select "Search All" which takes a long time. I would appreciate some guidance in this regard.
David Lang
If you move BDAG up so that it appears at the top of your list of Greek Tools, you can right-click and select Dictionary from the Look Up submenu of the contextual menu. Alternatively, you can just triple-click any Greek word to look it up in BDAG. To make BDAG your default Greek tool, select "Arrange Modules..." from the Edit menu. In the Arrange Modules window, click the triangle to expand the Greek Tools section, then click and drag BDAG to the top of that list. Click the Update button. From that point on, triple-clicking a Greek word, or selecting "Look Up in Dictionary" in the contextual menu, will automatically look that word up in BDAG. Hope this helps.
