10.0.1 user note / tool edit behavior

When inside a user note / tool edit window:

 

1. when attempting to move the pointer up via keyboard, the left arrow on the keyboard will move the pointer one backspace at a time and move up to the previous line as expected, but pressing the up arrow on the keyboard only moves the pointer to the beginning of each line but will not move it to the previous line.

 

2. When copy as citation / paste into a user note / tool edit window, if the copied portion of the text is the last sentence of a paragraph, the content is paste in such a way that a new line character is inserted before the closing punctuation mark. So:

 

"some copy as citation pasted content…

" <-- note the closing quotation mark that should have been in the previous line

But if the copy as citation passage is NOT the last sentence of a paragraph, then it is pasted correctly. So:

 

"some copy as citation pasted content…" <-- note the closing quotation mark is correctly placed

 

{citation info}

 

I've never noticed this behavior prior to 10.0.1.
