JamesN
The new one is supposed to be at double the pixel resolution of the current one. I'm not particularly interested in playing games on it but I am wondering what I should expect in the way of typeface clarity in Accordance texts with a higher resolution screen. Would there be a difference or would the text remain about the same?
Mark Nigro
To my knowledge, more pixels means clearer text rendition always. Just like text on a laptop screen is sharper with higher resolution. Another example would be the improvement with the retna display on the newer iPhones compared to the older, lower res.
Martin Shields
Actually I think one of the major differences is the text quality (I'm typing on an iPad 3 right now). Text readability and quality are the thing that I notice most when compared to an older iPad.
