FrMoses
Peace and grace, I just purchased the MT-LXX bundle, which includes the LXX-B (Brenton) English translation of the LXX. Oddly, it is showing blocks instead of spaces, as shown in the screenshot. Any ideas why? In Christ
Helen Brown
I suspect it's the font you are using. Please try other fonts, especially the more standard ones like Times new Roman or Helvetica.
FrMoses
Dear Helen, Thank you kindly for your prompt response. I was using Georgia, which is a standard system font, but nonetheless, I tried Helvetica and the problem persists. Thank God, I believe I found the bug, however. It is related to the "Hide Spaces" setting in the text display settings. When I uncheck this option and apply the changes, the text appears normally. I'm not sure if this is a bug or just a unique issue with the LXX-B module itself. In any event, I appreciate your help in resolving this. Helen Brown
Hide spaces is intended only for original language texts to approximate how the text appears in the manuscripts. It should affect only those Bibles when it is set in the Preferences, and is dimmed in the Set Text Display for the LXX-B. I wonder how you got that option to affect that text?
