Bret Hicks
I was doing some study of Psalm 119, and had Accordance count up the word occurences in the Psalm. To do this i Used the search [RANGE psalm 119] <AND> * In looking at the results, I noted that Accordance told me there were 26 instances of dabar (word/speech). However, a commentary I was consulting said their were only 24. I then did a search on just dabar in Psalm 119, which gave 26 hits in 23 verses. As I looked at the results, I noticed that in Psalm 119:47 and Psalm 119:61 included hits for both the kethiv and qere readings. In other words, there really are only 24 unique hits. So my question is this - is there any way to tell Accordance to NOT look at the qere readings in the margin, but only search the kethiv readings? Thanks for any help! Helen Brown
Look in the pop-up menu which usually says Verse and select Ignore Words Inside Brackets from the bottom of the menu.
