Outis
Hi All, I'm walking through Genesis with my catechism class. And, when it came to Gen. 10, I handed out to them a photocopy from my Genesis notes. But the notes were really, really ugly. I have the "Maps" module. But it doesn't seem to go back to Genesis 10. And even if it did, it doesn't cover enough land (where is Tarshish?). So, are there any atlases available for Accordance which take a stab at locating the names/places listed in Genesis 10? (Tarshish, kittim, Rodanim, etc)
David Lang
Steve, I did a Search All using the Caption field and the [All Tools] group for (table, family) of nations. I got several atlases and resources which feature a map of the the nations listed in Genesis 10: IVP-NB Atlas, ZIBBCOT, C-Sacred Bridge, and C-Bible Atlas. In my opinion, the one from ZIBBCOT is the most attractive, although the one from the Sacred Bridge is interesting as well.
