Enoch
I would like to be able to highlight a subject in a given version multiple times with on & off. I don't know if this can be done with Accordance. For example, I mainly use the American Standard Version (tho Accordance has had a corrupt copy & for some reason doesn't seem to want to actually buy an ASV for $6 from Star Publishing & correct it). The ASV is public domain. I would like to be able to highlight a subject (for example, angels in yellow). After I have highlit the entire Bible on angels, then I would like to be able to highlight a different subject in a different copy of the ASV (say money in green). Then I could choose to look at the Angel ASV or the Money ASV. And I could turn off & on the highlighting at will. Another feature would be to have both angels in yellow & money in green in the ASV & then be able to turn off the yellow & on the green -- or off the green & on the yellow; this for each color. How much of this (or any) is now possible?
danzac
I'm fairly certain you can't turn highlights off and on, though I like the idea very much.
Helen Brown
You can suppress all the highlighting in a pane, and you can create multiple sets of highlighting for different purposes, but you only load one set at a time. You can put different word highlighting on different versions, but not on the same version. So, no, you cannot do what you are asking, display one style in one pane and another style in another pane, sorry. It has not been requested before.
