Boris Repschinski
I seem to stumble upon a number of oddities in the last few days. Well here is another one, in the outlines prepared by Oaktree and supplied in the starter edition, the outline given for Mark is inconsistent: II. The Galilean Ministry (1:14-6:44) A. Early Ministry in Galilee (1:14-3:12) 1. Call of the First Disciples (1:14-20) 2. Miracles in Capernaum (1:21-34) 3. Ministry Throughout Galilee (1:35-45) 4. Controversies with Religious Authorities (2:1-3:12) B. Later Ministry in Galilee (3:13-6:44) 1. Call of the Twelve Apostles (3:13-19) 2. An Accusation of Allegiance to Beelzebub (3:20-30) 3. Opposition From Jesus’ Own Family (3:31-35) 4. Parables of the Kingdom (4:1-34) 5. Ministry Across the Sea of Galilee (4:35-5:20) 6. Miracles Performed in Galilee (5:21-43) 7. Without Honor in His Hometown (6:1-6) 8. Jesus Sends Out the Twelve (6:7-13) 9. John the Baptist Beheaded (6:14-29) 10. The Feeding of the 5,000 (6:31-44) C. Ministry to the Gentile Regions (6:45-9:32) 1. In Gennesaret (6:45-7:23) 2. In Tyre, Sidon, and the Decapolis (7:24-8:9) 3. In the Vicinity of Caesarea Philippi (8:10-9:32) D. Final Ministry in Galilee (9:33-50) Now if one decides to head the Galilean ministry under II, should not, for consistency's sake, points C. and D. be III. and IV. instead?
