Helen Brown
We would be happy to add more German resources, but we don't have anyone who could prepare them for us, and the demand for them has been low until now.
JayDee
I do not know how it works to get a new module for Accordance running.. from the beginning to end.. but if we could do anything to accelerate these proceedings (like formating texts into the right format for Accordance etc.) Id love to spent some time into this as well as some other german Accordance Users. I clearly dont think we could handle the contract negotations with the publishers - but If its only the man power which is missing I think the community could help out.. Maybe we find a way to make Accordance more attractive to german users as it is a the moment with the two big cd roms from the Deutsche Bibelgesellschaft and the Z
sacha zemp
I would add that a tagged text would be the best addition to accordance. With a tagged text I can access the greek and hebrew wealth of resources with my german bible. As for now I have to make a detour with a english bible. Arne B.
I agree with JayDee. There would be a bigger demand from German people if there were more German resources (Tagged bibles, Commentaries in German, ... ). I often suggest Accordance to people but they refuse to buy because of the mentioned reason and stick with the SESB in a Windows VM. I would also offer any help that is possible...but I guess that is difficult due to copyright (On the other hand the texts are freely accessible on several online bible portals) and probably a lot more reasons that I don't know...
