Importing from "that other program"

I was just curious...and this has probably been discussed many times...if I wanted to transfer one of my Libronix products over to a User Tool in Accordance, what would be involved in the process? Is it feasible? Any problem with it since I actually have the Libronix liscence for the product?

I've done this a couple of times. I've created a not-quite-finished import of Zerwick's Grammatical Analysis of the Greek New Testament.

It's a simple cut and paste process that works extremely well now that Accordance can receive unicode text when what's being copied includes Greek or Hebrew text. In the case of Zerwick, I created a User Notes file and have pasted verse by verse, cleaning it up as I go. Other works can simply be pasted into user tools, but I've found that it has to be copied in sections as you cannot copy large amounts of text at at time.

I'm not certain about licensing issues. I'm sure they wouldn't like it. But I'm fairly confident that the Fair use section of the 1976 Copyright Act allows for it since it's only for my own use, and I'm not sharing it with anyone.

And since I've paid for it, and everyone has received their just compensation, I sleep fine at night. ;)

I have a couple of resources as well from the other program but my windows based machine died and so I don't have access to L software. But, I do have the cds. Is there anyway I can import these into accordance or do I need to find a windows machine (don't have dual boot on my new mac yet) and install the old L?

On a related topic, I downloaded a few user texts from the forum and they come with the .sit format. How do I import them as a user file?

.sit files are Stuffit (like a .zip).

Thanks, downloaded stuffit and added the modules. What about my question related to books from L? Actually, I have that library saved on an external hard drive so I could access the books
