Lorinda H. M. Hoover Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Twice today I've used Accordance's "Check for Updates" feature looking to update from 8.4.3 to 8.4.4. Each time it tells me there is nothing to download, just some module updates that I either need a new DVD or would need to pay for. It's not a problem at all for me to download the update "manually", in fact I'll do so next, but I thought you might want to know. I'll hold off on installing it for a bit, in case you want me to try any troubleshooting steps to track down the issue. I'm working on an iBook G4 running 10.4.11, in case that's a factor. And I've double checked to make sure I have Accordance 8.4.3. (The first time I thought maybe I had forgotten updating already) Lorinda
Lorinda H. M. Hoover Posted March 10, 2010 Author Posted March 10, 2010 FWIW, I wasn't able to download the installer with Firefox. I would get asked if I wanted to open or save the file I had asked to download, but when I clicked "save," the save dialog would not pop up, and the file would not continue download. I would find ".part" files on my desktop afterwards. Using Safari to download worked fine, so it's probably just a Firefox problem. But I wanted to mention it just in case it was related to the in-app check for updates issue I'm having. Lorinda
Fr. Rich Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 I downloaded this morning using Firefox and it worked fine.
