jwritebol Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 I have been an Accordance User since version 5. That being said I have a few old CD's lying around of version 6, 7, etc. Can I legally give these away to Mac users to try Accordance with a standard library and if they want to upgrade to 8 then they do it on their own dime? Thanks. Jeremy
Helen Brown Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Thanks for asking, but no, when you buy an upgrade you are not entitled to give or sell the earlier versions. You should dispose of them. You should also not leave Accordance on a Mac which you pass on to another user, unless you officially transfer the license to that user and start over. You buy a license for one user or one computer.
jwritebol Posted January 21, 2010 Author Posted January 21, 2010 Thank you Helen, That makes perfect sense and I will do that. Jeremy
