Mairead Sine
I'm sorry I've had this problem before, and I've called the telephone support line. However, I'm hoping my middle aged memory can be sufficiently twigged on the forum. I just downloaded the free module of Calvin's commentary on Ephesians. I installed it, and I thought everything went well..... however, now I can't find it. Help please.
Joel Brown
First question is, how did you install it? If you opened it within Accordance, or selected 'Add Module' then navigated to it, it should be in your library. To search your Library, first be sure its open and visible (You can toggle it using the Windows menu). Then begin typing the name of the module into the Find box at the top. So in this case, start typing Ephesi... If the module is added to Accordance, it'll be selected and show you where it is. Feel free to move it around some too. Since this is a commentary, it will be located in the reference tools. Now, if the module does not show up in the library, then it wasn't installed to Accordance just yet. If thats the case, reply back and I can help walk you through that.

However, earlier when I went to the downloads and clicked on it, it said it had installed just fine.
Helen Brown
The module should be in Accordance folder/Modules/Tools. Please look in the finder and see if it is there, or whether you can find it elsewhere on the finder. perhaps you have two copies of Accordance, or it installed into the demo version? In fact, does it even have an installer, or did it just unstuff to the same location -- desktop or downloads?

I have done all you say, including following the advice on the installing module page, and I still can't find it. I then did a "search this Mac" and I can't find it. Since the full commentaries is on my wish list, maybe I should just wait and see if some kind person will give me that for my graduation.
Helen Brown
What happens when you open the downloaded file?
Mairead Sine
What happens when you open the downloaded file? Hi Helen, I thought I would attach some screen shots of what happens. To me it looks just fine. However, I'm no expert. I treat my computer like my vacuum. I don't know, nor do I really care, how it works. I just want it to work. Thanks. Helen Brown
Sorry, these attachments are not working.
Joel Brown
Thanks for the attachments, they work for me. If I am understanding your screenshots correctly, you are attempting to run the Starter Installer. Though this installer includes a variety of free modules, it does not include Ephesians (Calvin). To download Ephesians (Calvin), its the last item on the page at: http://www.accordancebible.com/downloads/free_modules.php. These are standalone modules, with no installer. To add it to Accordance, once downloaded and decompressed, move the module to [Your Accordance Folder]/Modules/Tools, then open the module from within Accordance. Let me know if this helps PS: The list of modules included in the starter collection is found here: http://www.accordancebible.com/downloads/free_modules.php

I still can't get it to work. Is there a video tutorial about installing modules. Maybe if I see it I'll understand what I'm doing wrong. Thanks for all your help. M.J.
