Brett K. Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 Let me start by saying I don't know Greek so I'm pretty sure I must be missing something. I am comparing the texts of the GNT-TR and GNT-T using tags rather than words as the comparison criteria. Accordance is marking up a lot of text where I can find no differences whatsoever. So far it has done it with replacing words and deleting words but it has not done it with inserting words (i.e. all of the insertion markup has been correct). I would appreciate it if someone could look at the attached screen shot and tell me what the differences are that Accordance is marking. I can't see any differences with most of the markup. Thanks -- Brett
Kit Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 I don't have such problem. Please look at my screenshot.
Kit Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 Sorry, i misunderstand what you mean. After I changed my preference from word to tag, I have the same results as yours. The reason why you see such difference, I guess, is because their morphology descriptions are different. For example, οὑδὲ [GNT-TR] is tagged as adverb while οὑδὲ [GNT-T] as Conjunction. Their tagging info are different. That's why you see a cyan highlight on both words. Hope it helps. Kit
Brett K. Posted November 22, 2009 Author Posted November 22, 2009 Thanks for the info. That's what I needed to know. Thanks -- Brett
