blgriffin83
What I am wanting to do is search to see if there are any gutturals (א, ה, ח, ע) that have a shva' that follow a letter with a long vowel. Just doing a manual search I found 3 instances (Isaiah 34:3; Joel 2:20; Job 31:40) where alef has a shva following a qamats (haven't confirmed yet if it's a qamatz gadol or qatan). There were only 50 instances I could find where alef had a shva so it was easy to search but the other gutturals have much more hits so it's impossible to search each instance. Brian K. Mitchell
Hello @blgriffin83 ! On the following thread see my suggestion and also see Ken Simpson's command line suggestion. This search was for 'composite shva(s)' but you can motif it for normal Shva'.... https://forums.accordancebible.com/topic/35642-construct-search-to-find-all-words-contaning-a-composite-shewa-under-a-gutteral-letter/
