(I know a Lutheran or two who wouldn't like Luther's Works being labeled as "Reformed." I guess it just fits into the "and More"?)

Rick55
To those who have the experience, could some kind brother or sister give me some direction, on acquiring the knowledge of Martin Luther? I understand his protest against the Catholic Church, but I am interested in more of his commentary and scripture references that back up his protest(s). I see the Annotated Luther and Luther’s Works (Vols. 31-54). I am not so interested in a modern interpretation of what Martin Luther said so I believe counting out the Annotated Luther may be appropriate for what I am looking for, though is this correct about this work? Does Luther’s Works (Vols. 31-54) have commentary and plenty of scripture references? Thanks
