bnelso48
Below is my set-up. I have two questions. The panels seem linked together but sometimes when I scroll they aren't linked. 1. Is there a short cut key for getting them to evenly aline on the same verse? 2. Is there a way to get them to be tied together better when I scroll? It seems that at times they scroll together, but at other times one of the panes is left behind in the scrolling, completely or for a time. Thank you, Brian
Gary Raynor
I took me a while, but I managed to replicate this. It does not happen as much if you display the texts by verse. The parallel text aligns when the verse reference of the master text is at the top and if the mouse wheel moves two lines at a time, then one can have issues. If the mouse scrolling does not exactly position the reference at the top there may be a misalignment which is exacerbated when displaying by paragraphs. I prefer the keyboard using ctrl up/down arrows instead of the mouse as that always exactly aligns the parallel text.
Dr. Nathan Parker
Probably not what you'd want to do in this case, but you can also open your two Bibles in two zones and tie tabs. That's generally what I do for commentaries though if I need more screen real estate. For Bibles, I usually use Parallel Panes.
