Dr. Nathan Parker
I have a handful of Andersen Forbes Syntax Searches I created back in Logos years ago. I'd like to re-create these in Accordance. I've attached the screenshot of the searches. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could convert some of these into Accordance searches? Once I've taken some of them as a test drive, I'll be able to either produce a screencast on A-F or teach a webinar on it. These are some good real-world searches that would help us better understand A-F once they can be converted into Accordance. Thanks!
mbcvida
I am attempting these samples, however the program repeatedly crashes. Using the construct menu for AF, whenever I attempt to choose certain syntax categories, it immediately crashes the program. The following AF syntax items crash the program when they are chosen -- Discourse, Sem-Role CiC, Non-Sem role CiC I have also discovered that when you try to expand certain of the syntax categories, it also crashes the program. For me right now the AF database is essentially useless. Edited October 28 by mbcvida additional info discovered
