Larry Wing Posted October 12, 2023 Share Posted October 12, 2023 Accordance 14.0.8 on Macbook Pro M1 I'm doing a word comparison of Greek ev translation in the New Testament, starting with Heb 1:2. I had noticed that "by" and "in" are common translations. To start I wanted to start by seeing how ESV and LSB translate in the NT. Using Live Click on Heb 1:2 I focused on word usage pane. ESV reported "by" 128 times and as expected include Heb 1:2. Changing to LSB, "in" 14 times but Heb 1:2 is not included. Tagging problem? Switching to NASB95 Accordance doesn't display any word count results. Switching to NKJV word count of "by" is 16 but clicking on "by" in the list displayed many more (I stopped counting at 50). Why 16x50+? Switching to CSB word count of "by" is 180. I didn't count but appeared to be that manny and did include Heb 1:2. Bugs or am I missing something?
