Accordance Enthusiast Posted October 12, 2023 Share Posted October 12, 2023 (edited) I just received and email from the Accordance team asking us to join in prayer for Israel and the nations, concerning the ongoing war and violence. I am glad to see such a request and we have already been praying continually. However, we should be more specific, and pray for repentance and salvation for both Jew and Gentile. Even if the war stops the Jews and Gentiles who reject the Messiah will not be saved. Revelation 20:13 "And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire." - LSB If we turn to the Messiah in repentance he will have mercy upon us. This group includes members of various religious groups and theological traditions. Our public communications to our user base take this fact into account.
