William Cross
Using Live Click/Word Usage/Current Book with the HEBREW BIBLE (BIBLIA HEBRAICA) TAGGED (HMT-W4) Version 2.2 is not working correctly. I have verified this on my Mac and my associate's Mac. It does not find most words when limited to a range like: [RANGE Ex.], but strangely a few words do show up. This has not been particular to version 14.0.8. Any help? We are currently running Acc 14.0.8 on both MacBook Air M1 2020 macOS 14 and Mackbook Pro M2 2023 macOS 14 Screen Recording 2023-10-05 at 5.04.39 PM.mov Edited October 6, 2023 by William Cross
Accordance Enthusiast
@William Cross and @Nathan Parker, I thought I'll test this on windows, and I get an error or crash every time on Windows 10, Accordance 14.0.8. It crashes both when I include or exclude the lexicon lookup feature. 2023-10-06 09:20:34 Accordance has encountered an unhandled exception. The information in this file may help us fix this problem for a future version. You can report this error by posting this file on our forums at: https://forums.accordancebible.com/forum/81-bug-swatters-windows/ Or emailing it to support@accordancebible.com We hope to implement automatic error reporting soon. ReformedDoc
Mine works and does not crash with Windows 11, but says no words found in the tools or text requested. However, they have been found because as soon as I click OK they appear in Lexicon Lookup but not Word Usage. Revfish86
I'm on Windows 11 and Accordance 14.0.7 and experience the same as ReformedDoc. I can get lexical information but not Word Usage in the current book. If I go into Preferences, Live Click, Word Usage, and check the "Entire Text" box. then I get word usage, but of course, that's not very helpful in many instances. Every once in a while clicking on a word will work as was noted above. I did contact support at the end of August, but they were swamped with support requests with schools starting up again. They did say this was on their list of things to do and would get back to me when they could. Hopefully a fix is in the works. After my post in the above paragraphs, I am adding an edit to say that I just updated to 14.0.8 and the problem still persists. Revfish86
Just wondering if there was any news on this.
Dr. Nathan Parker
I have it on our list to look into, but no update on this at the moment.
Accordance Enthusiast
@Nathan Parker, now that my cache is cleared and the problematic user tool is removed, and now that it does not crash anymore, I can pinpoint that this is a very simple problem. the ONLY problem is the missing = at the start of the search. For any search which does not find a word, just add an = at the start and it works! (It's the same issue here as I mentioned earlier today elsewhere). just add the = Now this will be an easy fix! Revfish86
Thank you Accordance Enthusiast! What a gift! Hopefully this will be addressed soon but the workaround makes me very happy! Thank you!
Dr. Nathan Parker
This seems to have been corrected by using the = sign at the beginning of the word search. Is there a true bug report here?
William Cross
This does in fact seem to be a bug since the whole point of Live click is that it should work without having to create a search, but simply click a word.

Dr. Nathan Parker
Has someone tested this in 14.09 beta? I wonder if it's still persisting there. If so, we'll get it reported.
Accordance Enthusiast
Yes, I have tested this in 09b5, and it is still the same: Note that it should really give the following results:
