Jeff Kermah
How can I search for verses in Chronicles when revia is three words before zaqef? How would you set up a Hebrew Construct for this, if regular search would not accomplish this?
Accordance Enthusiast
Hello @Jeff Kermah, here is how to do it: Copy and paste this into your search window and adjust as needed: " *@.֗ * * *@.֔ " It looks backwards here but pastes correctly for me. If you need an extra word in between, just add an extra * in the search which represents any word. There are a number of ways to refine such a search, but this is a starting point... Ken Simpson
You could also use the <WITHIN ? WORDS> along with <FOLLOWED BY> to specify that the zaqef follows. You would need to do 2 searches for the caton and gadol. The other "quirk" is that accordance treats inseparable prepositions, the definite article and waw as separate words. so I would do something like this based on the search above... .<revia symbol> <FOLLOWED BY> <WITHIN 3-4 WORDS> .<zaqef caton or zaqef gadol symbol>. Then you would have to wort the results but not too onerous I guess.
