Trope Trainer: Cantillation of the Hebrew Bible / Old Testament

I would love to see something that helps with the chanting of the Hebrew Old Testament text using the accent Mark's like Kinnor's Trope Trainer, along the lines of Joshua R. Jacobson's Chanting the Hebrew Bible: The Art of Cantillation.

I think Accordance needs to first improve its audio experience in general. We've been waiting for years for something as simple as tempo adjustment.

@Thomas Ross Do you have the publisher and ISBN to this?

@Daniel L The current Hebrew audio Bibles use the built-in media players in the OS, so there's some things beyond our control. However, we are looking at improving the overall audio Bible experience and seeing how we could have more control over the experience.

The second edition of the jps volume has audio and video on a separate website so would not be controlled by accordance so should be better for us while we wait for accordance to make their required changes

@Nathan Parker Other programs seem to use the OS yet allow variable playback speed. Some of the native Hebrew speakers blitz through the text, a hindrance to beginners trying to improve pronunciation.

Thanks for the ISBN number and publisher on the book. I'll log it.

We'll have to research further on the audio players and see what options each OS provides for us.
