Still crashing when scrolling, 14.0.7?

Hello,

I just installed the update 14.0.7, started Accordance, and my default workspace came up full screen and clean (instead of part screen and oriented funny). Good improvement.

However, after I navigated to a verse in my bible pane, I tried scrolling down through the passage (using the scroll wheel on my mouse), and boom, it crashed and gave me an error message and error log. This is one of the same scenarios (scrolling through a bible passage) that would cause crashes in my 14 and 14.0.5.

Is this a known problem and still being worked on?

Below is a screen shot of the bible pane that I was scrolling through, as well as the error log.

Thank you,

Tom G

It just happened again, while scrolling down through the bible pane but this time while using the Vs down-arrow navigation button.

Below is a screenshot of the error message, as well as the error log.

Are there any solutions being worked on for this?

Thank you

Tom G

This is a very well known problem, at least among some users here, but since these freezes/crashes are totally random, tech support won't be able to repeat them by duplicating an exact sequence of key-strokes, they won't be able to report it to the programmers.

I'll test this on my Windows PC today, but if it's a random crash, it's going to be difficult to pinpoint. You can try this or emailing tech support to see if we can assist with this:

I'll see if I can bring up these random crashes at a future meeting and see if our programmers have anything they can suggest for us to try to pinpoint these.

I checked on this. I'd need your workspace file to test this. I'd like to see if the workspace possibly corrupted.

For random issues, try a safe start. Hold ALT key when starting Accordance.

Check all the clean up boxes and start.

If still a problem, repeat, and remove startup session.

You'll have to duplicate your workspace from scratch, but that sometimes fixes things.
