SIL Exegetical Summary Series on sale for $199

The SIL Exegetical Summary Series is one of my favorite resources in Accordance. As the name suggests, it summarizes the contents of many of the major commentaries for most of the NT, as well as Joel and Malachi. It was produced by the Summer Institute of Linguistics (Wycliffe Bible Translators). It deals with lexical issues and pertinent issues with each verse. 

I don't work for Accordance, but I'm just a huge fan of this Tool.

As a compact summary, it’s particularly useful on an iPad, where the info pane is not available. Unlike the info pane, it summarizes information from commentaries, translations, and lexica. It’s also unlike the info pane in that it doesn’t contain all my commentaries 😊. I did discover a commentary (Lenski’s) in which I wouldn’t have taken any interest otherwise.

 

It would be great if SIL would expand coverage of the Old Testament, which is currently very limited.
