Richard Conaway
Is there an easy way to open a search result in the book/chapter/verse it points to? Like, if I search for a word...the results show up and I find the verse I want. If I could just click to open it in context as if I had typed it in? Even better to be able to open it in a new tab. Hope this makes sense. Thank you.
Donald Cobb
Hi Richard. I assume that when you do a search, you have your context slider (on the left, just above your text) set to one verse. If you want the context for a verse in your results pane, just put the slider all the way to the right ("A"). That should to it for you.
darrylmy
Hi @Richard Conaway, an alternative method to the one mentioned by Donald is to use the Amplify > Context menu. The keyboard shortcut on Mac is cmd-5, but I'm not too sure what the keyboard shortcut is on Windows (it might be control-5). That will open a new window pane with the highlighted reference in its fuller context.
