Attie Bogaards Posted May 1, 2023 Posted May 1, 2023 I still get problems with Acc 14. 1. If I restart Accordance, it still do not fill the whole screen 2. See image above: if I right click with the mouse pointer on scattered (KJV), I get the message in the middle of the screen 3. Accordance also crash if 'I click on a Hebrew or Greek word. I am using Windows 11 and the newest Accordance. Here is the report Accordance Crash Log Crashed at: 14:52:47:143 On: 1 of May, 2023 South Africa Standard Time Accordance 14.0.5 (14.0.5.0) Windows 10 (10.0.22621) RAM: 6454MB free of 16118MB total Disc: 55GB free of 460GB total Range check error Address: $0043DF13 Backtrace: $0043DF13 $00703216 $0085A442 $009F6963 $00A44CAC $0091385C $009136A1 $00916E3E $007D2612 $005243F5 $0098483D $00984038 $0097F516 $007F6BD2 $004D2749 $76D323A3 $76D230B6
Leopold Green Posted May 1, 2023 Posted May 1, 2023 On the Mac it doesn't crash but if I click any word in the KJV, ESV or the JPS (so I assume all English tagged texts - it doesn't happen with original language or extra biblical - I tested the English Dead Sea) I get the same error box that the words were not found in any tools even though my word study/text browser panes do update... it would be great to see this fixed - generally I have to say that 14.0.5 is back to being speedy and the dreaded beachball rarely appears so it is a genuinely useful system again (for which I give proper thanks)
mgvh Posted May 1, 2023 Posted May 1, 2023 One problem I see is that you have the Lexicon Lookup set to dictionaries. It should be set to Lexicons.
robrecht Posted May 1, 2023 Posted May 1, 2023 I'm still getting random freezes of the program, that I then have to shut down in Task Manager. They mostly seem to occur when I fill in the search window with a verse reference, but they are not repeatable. They seem rather random, not a consistent pattern of actions that will always result in a crash. I've only been able to isolate one consistently repeatable crash, and that one is also not fixed yet.

mgvh Posted May 1, 2023 Posted May 1, 2023 I was just looking at your screen shot where you must have changed Lexicon Lookup to Dictionaries. Click on arrow and change to Hebrew or Greek Lexicons

Dr. Nathan Parker Posted May 1, 2023 Posted May 1, 2023 I moved this to Bug Swatters so we can file a bug report on this one. I think this is related to another bug report I’ve filed, but I’ll send this one along as well just to ensure we have all the details.
