Erhard
Is there a reason that the Accordance version of the LSB interlinear does not have all the information as the Logos version has? The NASB has the same issue but the ESV does not.
Mark Allison
It's a cost thing. Accordance has traditionally felt that it wasn't worth the cost to consistently tag all of their texts. 1

Seems a bit strange though since Accordance always prides itself as being the app for studying the text.

To decode that, I checked a website (Blue Letter Bible) to see what Strong’s tagging the LSB comes with. It looks like what Accordance has. So, what Mark is saying is that Oaktree doesn’t think it’s cost effective to spend module developer time adding the tagging that Bible publishers leave out. In the case of the LSB, there’s the consideration that Accordance is giving it away for free. So a better-tagged Bible can’t make them more money (at least not directly: it could potentially help expand our retain the user base, but that’s hard to measure). Erhard
It is interesting too that the NASB Bibles do not have the complete tagging either and they are sold and not free

Remember that before computers this could be a years long task and even now is hardly a minor thing. The NASB and many others have not deemed it worthwhile to expand their tagging. That should give you some idea of the task and its return value for the effort.
Dr. Nathan Parker
I’ll add it to the module requests list, but keep in mind that tagging texts is a major endeavor for our module development team to accomplish. These are generally longer-term projects due to the overall complexity of the work.
