copy as citation not functional

just upgraded to 14.0.4.0 to check this but it still doesn't work:

ctrl-alt-c works fine for biblical texts, but not for any other modules (as far as I can find), whether commentaries, lexica, dictionaries, other reference modules.

and to clarify, it will copy the text, just no citation details (author, page, book etc).

similarly, copy as bibliography doesn't give anything at all.

Thanks! I’ll try to test this when I get my Windows PC. Any other Windows users with this issue in the meantime, please chime in!

This is also the case on Mac OS 12.6.3 Accordance 14.0.4.

Thanks! I’ll let our teams know this is cross-platform.

I'm on Accordance 13.4.2 and can attest that selecting a block of text from a commentary and then using copy as citation from the contextual menu did not copy as a citation.

Just to add to the data points here, it works fine for me in Accordance 14.0.4 on my MacBookPro 15,3 with Ventura 13.2.1

@Douglas Fyfe @Nathan Parker

I'm on Accordance 14.0.4, Windows 11.

In Google docs, copy-as-citation produces no citation, not even as a footnote.

In Word 2013, copy-as-citation produces the citation in a footnote - see screenshot below.

Did it ever produce the citation in Google Docs?

I don't think so. But copying as citation ought to produce a citation when pasted anywhere. So even if it's an old bug, it should be fixed.
