Can anyone repeat this awesome parallel pane setup??

I have accidentally set up a horizontal parallel pane in a way that I would love to be able to repeat. Only, I have no idea how I did this!

 

I've attached two screen shots, the first showing how I accidentally did it (notice the module information and settings appear in a slim horizontal bar for both modules), the second showing the way the parallel pane usually appears (the module information and settings for both panes appearing in a fat vertical bar to the left).

Next to live click is an icon to switch panes to horizontal orientation.

Yes. All you do is select your text, then add the parallel. Then click the gear icon and select 'move down'. If you don't like where the title, etc are (on the side or the top of the paneP click the little button with two rectangles and arrows next to live click (in my photo).
