Right now, I’ve uploaded them to my personal Rumble channel just so Accordance users can have a place to watch them. This is my personal Rumble channel, so there’s plenty of non-Accordance content on there as well (so this channel is not an official Accordance channel). Once I have access to Accordance’s official video channels or collaborate with Linda on them, I can add the videos there.

 

The videos are a little unpolished since I just “whipped them up” during the beta. I can produce more videos on Accordance training topics (feel free to give me any feedback you wish) and make them a little more polished in the future. It at least gives you an idea of what quick videos on Accordance 14 look like and an idea of a type of video I can produce based on customer feedback.

 

And yes, I goofed on Psalm 23 in the Quick Click video. This was during the Accordance beta though, so I guess the video is also “beta”.

Nicely done. By the way, is there some way to sharpen the text in the video?

These videos look great, Nathan. But for some reason, the text appears very blurred on my desktop monitor. Has the text been optimized for a particular (lower) resolution?

 

I can wait until they become available as Accordance videos.

Unfortunately, these videos can't be accessed in France. The blocker says there's some legislative issue. So I'll be looking forward to the official versions!

Rumble might have blurred the text of the videos when processing them. That hasn't happened to me in the oast with videos I uploaded there,ut seems to on some of these. I'll get with Linda and see if they'll upload clearer on Accordance's official channels. If not, I'll see if I need to tweak a serting in ScreenFlow and re export.

Thanks for the followup! I may post something in the Mainly Macintosh group to ensure all future videos I export are in a recommended format everyone can watch. It’s been a little bit since I’ve used ScreenFlow.

Thanks for the videos! I live the "straight to the point" format! I would love to see a video on creating user tools — I know how to "create" them, but feel like I am missing some of the post-processing options.

One thing as well with the videos. Since there will likely be a lot more of them, it would be good to organize them in several categories and subcategories to make it easier to find the one that you are looking for

It gets sharper if you tap the gear and switch the resolution to 1080p, but lots of people wouldn't realize they can do that. I don't know if it's possible to set a higher default (I got 480p default, which was blurry). If not, maybe Vimeo or YouTube will work better.

Looking forward to posting these (and more) to Accordance’s official channels. I just used my personal Rumble page temporarily since it was a quick way for people to start watching them. I consolidated all my videos on Rumble a while back since I had some scattered across YouTube and Vimeo. I wasn’t using Vimeo enough to keep paying for Plus, and on YouTube, my videos kept getting really obscene ads that embarrassed me if people watched them. Rumble hasn’t been perfect, but it’s free and hasn’t been as bad on ads for what little bit I personally upload videos.
