Cnthetford
I am finding that if I send a sequence of verse references (one at a time - I type in a reference, then hit enter to navigate there) that every 2-6 times, the application will lock up and I will have to shut down and re-start through task manager. If I use the new navigation pane instead, I do not have this problem, but that is much slower to use. When Accordance is not responding, I also find that Microsoft word and some parts of Windows (like if I alt-tab between applications) will lock up as well. Is anyone else having this problem? I am using Windows 11 with the latest version of Accordance 14 and could not duplicate your issue following the steps you described in your post. What version of Accordance are you using? Erhard
I tried it on my Win 10 machine and have not issues. @Misulejoha he must be using V14 because he said he is using the new navigation pane. Personally, I prefer the new navigation method to typing since I prefer using the mouse to typing if possible.
Cnthetford
I am using 14.0.3 (Dec 2022) version on Windows 11 Pro. It is really bad. I can't go more than about 10 minutes at a time without crashing or locking up.
Silas Marrs
@CnthetfordIf you look in your Documents folder, there should be an "Accordance Logs" folder next to the "Accordance Files" folder. This is where crash logs are stored on Windows, and pasting the contents of the most recent one as a reply here on the forum might help me look into the issue. Of course, if it's all freezes where you've had to force quit, that won't generate a log.
Cnthetford
Ok.. I've been getting lockups instead of crashes the last couple of days, but I entered "Lev 16" into the search bar and got the following crash dump. My system memory is at 50% and the only other programs running are Word and Acrobat reader. This has never happened using the navigation pane.
