Preferences Issues

I have recently downloaded v.14 (including the recent update) on Windows, and there seems to be issues with the preferences tab.

 

First, the search function in preferences does work. When I type in "text" for example, it shuts down the tab and I have to reopen the tab.

 

Second, I am unable to change the translation settings from Berean. It just won't open to allow me to change it. Even though my preferred ESV translation will show itself in the instant details, if I open a parallel window, it automatically changes to Berean version.
