Everything is dark while creating a new "Paper” during dark mode

This only happens in dark mode. All text items in the newly created "Paper" are shown in black color.  I need to select all text items and change them into white color manually. However, the worst part is that the new text item added thereafter will still remain in black. It is quite annoying to select the item and do the color changing step every time I add something on it.
