Automatic text change in construct search

Dear all,

 

I’m trying to get familiar with Accordance, but sometimes I find it hard. This forum is often of great help.

 

Please have a look at the picture below: when I prepare a Construct Search in the ETCBC-text and want to enter a lexical form (“LEX”), it often happens that the “Text”-box in the pop-up window automatically changes to “Ben Sira-Canonical Order” (in the ‘normal’ situation, this box is empty). As a result of this change, I can only choose items found in Ben Sira (note: I’m not working at all on Ben Sira; that’s simply one of the texts in my library, and one I seldomly use). To make things worse, the drop-down menu gives me four options (see the picture), but not the option to return to ETCBC. So my question is, whether someone knows what’s going wrong, and how I can solve this problem?

Yes, this is bug I reported months ago. I guess it came with 13.2. A case for @Silas Marrs.

Thanks for your quick answer, Fabian! Hope there will soon be an update to solve this, since this bug significantly limits the usefulness of the Construct Search.
