Cameron
I have a simple question (I think). I'm building an electronic ZULU language bible. Is there a way to create a User Bible and also build a cross reference between the Zulu words and what they're root meanings are? As an example, I'm using the NIV-G/K version and get the hebrew/greek word and definition in the bottom pane. Is they're a way to build the same type of information into a user bible - so that when I cross over a word it shows me the translation for that word? Thank you, Cam
Helen Brown
You can build a User Bible in version 8 as long as the text uses simple Roman characters and accents. It cannot be edited in Accordance, but you can edit and add to it outside and reimport. As for adding key numbers, this is not possible in User Bibles. If you are really serious about it, we can let you have the information as to how to markup the original text file, and then we could import it into Accordance. There is a fee for this, since I do not anticipate much of a market for such a product. I think you had best use the Zulu Bible in parallel with our other Key number texts to compare the results of key number searches.
Timothy Jenney
A Zulu Bible in Accordance? How cool is that!
