Why is my Hebrew word order reversed?

I am just starting to export HMT text to Unicode in MS Word 2004, and so far it works except one thing: All the words are in the wrong order. Each word is in the right order, but the verse I copy is backwards. I have read a bunch of posts, and the directions like a dozen times. What am I doing wrong?

 

I guess I could copy the verse one word at a time, but this seems frustrating.

Word on Mac does not support Unicode right-to-left. Please see this topic and post on the subject, and try OpenOffice, Mellel, or Nisus.

 

Sadly, this is true of Word 2008 as well as 2004.

Thanks! Of course, this was not what I wanted to hear, but bad news can be that way. I had read most of these entries, but still had not got it that Word simply does not deal with Hebrew Unicode correctly.
