Autosave is doing... nothing?

Hi,

 

I had an unexpected crash today and when I rebooted I tried to recall a previous autosave session, and it is simply doing nothing. I have tried many of them and nothing loads. I can open previous workspaces, but really would like to have that workspace I was using back if possible. Any help would be awesome.
