Keep Edit Window on Top

I think it would be helpful, at times, to have the option to keep the edit window on top of the workspace, so that when I am making notes, I can click around on the workspace behind the note editor without it disappearing behind the workspace.

Even better would be to edit the notes inline without a separate, floating edit window, but I imagine that might be a lot more difficult to do
