"About this Text" window displays too long when opening a new tool or text

Every time I open a new resource (commentaries mostly), the "about this text" window pops up and stays there for several seconds. I have to manually close it each time.  When I'm working and need to open/close multiple resources, this is very frustrating.  Is there a way to disable this pop-up from opening every single time I open a resource? Or is there at least a way to control how long it stays open for? I really don't need to see all that information each and every time I open the resource. It just really gets in the way and slows me down.
