ekim37
I just searched for the greek word σφραγίζω in my NA28 Greek NT. It should say that there are 16 total counts for it, but it says 19. But if you count the hits, it comes up as 16.IMG_2791.HEIC Or have I done something wrong with my search? Thank you
Kristin
I don't know if this is connected, but I noticed something similar with καθὼς. When I searched its key [KEY G2531], it brings up Mt 20:10. I might be totally missing it, but I don't see καθὼς in the text...
jeremykidd73
I just searched the same word in Accordance and I came up with 14 verses and 15 hits. 🤷♂️ There are two hits in Rev 7:4, and then 13 other verses have the word 1 time each. Mounce's Expository Dictionary confirms that the correct count should be 15x in the New Testament. Not sure what went wrong, but the correct number of occurrences for that Lexeme in the NA28 Greek NT seems to be neither 16 nor 19. The correct number is 15 (in 14 verses). I hope this helps you figure out the problem!

Thank you Interesting, using the NA28 (module version 3.7) finds 15 hits; which coincides with the count found in the EDNT: "1. This vb., attested from Aeschylus Eu. 828, occurs 15 times in the NT, 8 of those in Revelation. Like the noun → σφραγίς, it is used both literally and figuratively." If I search an English text for the Key Number I get many different counts (16, 21, etc.). However, you searched your NA28 text for the lexeme and the 14 verse display is what shows on my display. Unfortunately, I'm not seeing a reason why our two results are different.
ScottDF
@ekim37, what does a Table view of the Analytics show for hits (click the pie chart that shows 19 and choose Table)? I get 15 hits. Matthew 1 John 2 Romans 1 2Corinthians 1 Ephesians 2 Revelation

I've already sent in an error correction report. Thanks! Edited August 28, 2021 by Mark Allison

Thank you @ekim37 As others have said, you should definitely have 15 hits. You might want to contact tech support. In the meantime, I'd trying deleting the NA28 from your library and reinstalling. Also, make sure you're up-to-date on the Accordance app and all your resources. You might also want to try launching Accordance in Safe Mode (hold down the Option key) and select all the items under the "Clean Up" section.
