Many of my highlights are not recovered

To maintain the consistency of all my highlights, I have used "My Highlights" file only (not the "Mobile" highlights file) to be saved in my Dropbox. When I reinstall the Accordance app on my iPad Pro and try to recover my highlights, however, I came to know that many of my highlights are gone! I'm so disappointed with the loss of so many highlights I have made for years. Are there anyone who has (or had) the same problem with me? Isn't there any solution to this unreliable preserving of my highlights data?
