Alex H. Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 I am running Accordance on two accounts on the same machine. This message is only occurring on one of the accounts. Everytime I open Accordance it says, "The file 'com.oaktree.accordance.path.txt' cannot be modified, because write permission has been denied. The permissions for the file may be changed by opening 'Get Info' in the Finder." I've probably tried to move something at some stage, but can't remember what or when and aren't particularly worried right now (I think I tried to share the user notes or something, as a separate question, is that possible across two accounts?). I have checked the write permissions and they are set to read and write, so I'm not sure how to get rid of that message. Everything else works, it's just an inconvenience. Thanks, Alex Huggett P.s. I'm running Accordance 8.1.1 under OS 10.5.7, but was happening under 10.5.6 as well.
Helen Brown Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Just go to user/Library/Preferences and delete that file. Then Accordance will be able to recreate it without giving that error.
