YingLam Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 Hi, Recently my accordance become more and more unstable. I know I should let you know what recently I have done, but I know this is difficult to tell you exhaustively. I installed some commentary sets and installed some user tools from exchange..... Sometimes the system hangs for a few seconds, sometimes it just hang with one workspace active but not others... Sometimes it crashs....... and today it started to fail to reopen the last session, even though I clearly ticked it in the preferences...... what can I do? I am trying to minimize the number of active workspaces and duplicating tools/bibles. Not sure it would help...... YingLam
Timothy Jenney Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 Hi, YingLam! I am certainly not the person to help you troubleshoot this. However, I can tell you that the folks that can will need more information. I'll try to make a list of questions. If you'll answer them now, it will save you time when the more "techie" folks log in: 1. What version system software are you using? 2. What version of Accordance are you using? 3. Are all your modules up to date? 4. Was Accordance stable before your recent installs? 5. Which modules did you install recently, just before the trouble started? Thanks
Helen Brown Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 I already sent a personal message asking to contact me on iChat. As Tim says, we need much more information, and the quickest way to get it is with a screenshare.

Helen Brown Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 Restarting the Mac is a good idea from time to time, and especially whenever strange things start happening.
